Presenter View Coming Soon to Microsoft Teams Meetings

What is coming soon?

Microsoft Teams meeting presenters will be able to see a presenter view during Presentation Sharing. This update is scheduled for release in early 2021.

What are the benefits?

Once a PowerPoint presentation has been selected, presenter view will begin automatically. The presenter will be able to view the current slide, notes and a thumbnail strip of all slides for easy navigation.

Presenter view is private, so only the presenter in control has visibility. If another presenter clicks “take control”, presenter view will be switched to the second presenter and the first presenter will now have the audience view.

This update helps meeting presenters to stay on track, remember key points and easily navigate slides to ensure a natural presentation experience.
